Early in life, Dr. Washington survived a horrific fire resulting in third-degree burns, scars, and damages. Her journey to heal herself led her through a transformative process of physical and spiritual growth. Despite this adversity, Dr. Washington's inspiring journey led her to become a reigning beauty queen, holding titles such as Miss Compton, Miss South Central Los Angeles, Ms. Black California, and Ms. Black USA.

 

Today, Dr. Washington is a Senior Consultant and the owner of Quantum Leap Consulting Agency, as well as the co-owner of the UDefineU fashion line and Falon Chateau Event Center in Ghana. She provides expert guidance and support for both individuals and businesses, utilizing her diverse educational background in social science, sociology, psychology, recreation administration, and Christian counseling.

 

As an educator, Dr. Washington serves as a national and international Sociology Professor and has been the Program Director of the Foster and Kinship Care Education Program at Los Angeles Trade Technical College, providing resources for foster families, parents, and youth for upwards of 20 years.

 

Dr. Washington is not only a dedicated mother of two but also a source of unwavering support and mentorship to her children. Under her guidance, her kids have achieved great success as pageant winners, published authors, and young entrepreneurs. Beyond her immediate family, Dr. Washington has made it her mission to uplift at-risk youth by sharing her knowledge and expertise. Her unshakable faith in the wisdom of Proverbs 22:6 has inspired her to invest wholeheartedly in the development of young minds, with the belief that early guidance and mentorship can set a child up for a lifetime of success.

 

Dr. Washington is a prolific author with books focusing on personal growth, leadership, and career development. She has also founded mentorship programs, coaching services, and non-profit organizations aimed at empowering underprivileged children and women. Her philanthropic work includes serving as the Director of the Barbara Ann McDaniel Social Service Foundation, which currently provides services to schools and villages in Cape Coast Ghana, earning her widespread respect.
